Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black welcome birth of second child.

British diver Tom Daley OBE and Screenwriter Dustin Lance Black have formally shared the news of the arrival of their second child by an announcement in The Times newspaper.

Tom, 28 and husband Dustin, 48 have shared the first pictures of their second son, Phoenix Rose, younger brother to Robert Ray, 4. The happy couple have made their surprise announcement after keeping the pending news under wraps and way from the public eye.

On an Instagram post, Black wrote: “And then there were four. Our second son, Phoenix Rose Black – Daley, arrived at 3,34pm on March 28^th, 2023”.

Both sons were born in the US via an American surrogate, a decision made easier by the legal protection given to the pending parents of a surrogate birth.

In the past Tom and Dustin have expressed their wish to extend their family after the birth of their first son and now their wish has come to fruition.
