Pride of Finance to host Rising Stars event spotlighting LGBTQIA+ talent

A new event celebrating LGBTQIA+ inclusion and emerging talent across financial and professional services will take place in London this February, marking the launch of Financial News’ inaugural Pride of Finance Rising Stars list.

The reception will feature a panel discussion on leadership, career progression and workplace inclusion, with speakers including Victoria McCloud, recognised as the UK’s first transgender judge, alongside Krishna Omkar (Head of Product at LSEG) and Marie-Helene Tyack (DEI Lead at Allianz Commercial). The panel will explore themes of leading with pride, navigating career milestones, and building inclusive cultures in high-performing industries.

The event is being held to celebrate the publication of the Pride of Finance Rising Stars list, which will recognise young LGBTQIA+ professionals across finance, law and wider professional services. The list is scheduled to launch on 2 February, timed to coincide with LGBT History Month.

The invitation-only reception will take place at Financial News’ headquarters, The News Building at London Bridge, on 25 February, and is expected to bring together leaders and rising talent from across the City. The event will be sponsored by Deutsche Bank and moderated by Financial News editor-in-chief Shruti Tripathi Chopra.
