York Pride 2025 returns on Saturday, 7 June, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community with a vibrant parade and festival. 

As North Yorkshire’s largest LGBTQ+ charity event, York Pride offers a day filled with joy, inclusivity, and entertainment for all ages.

Parade Details:

The parade assembles at 11:30 AM in Duncombe Place, outside York Minster, and sets off at 12:00 PM. It winds through the historic streets of York, culminating at the Knavesmire festival site between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM. The parade is a colorful celebration of diversity and a march for equality and LGBTQ+ rights. York Mumbler+1Pride 2025+1Pride 2025+1yorkpride.org.uk+1

Festival Highlights:

From 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM, the Knavesmire transforms into a lively festival ground featuring live music, cabaret performances, a dance tent, family-friendly activities, food and drink vendors, and community stalls. The main stage will host a lineup of exciting acts, including the sensational La Voix, with more performers to be announced. 

Wristbands and Afterparty:

While York Pride is free to attend, purchasing a £6 wristband supports the event and grants access to exclusive discounts at local businesses and free entry to the official afterparty at Ziggy’s Bar before 10:00 PM. The afterparty runs from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM, hosted by the fabulous Janice DickinYourson.
