Over the years the LGBTQ+ movement has made amazing strides in pushing for the community to be treated with equal rights and dignity – but there is still so much more we must fight for. This talk explores the main issues that the LGBTQ+ community still faces, and how we can take action individually and as a community to keep progressing.

About Richard:
Richard Euston is the Head of Charity for Chester Pride. Over the last few years, he has been working to expand the services the Chester Pride offer the LGBTQ+ community, which now includes the Just Ask helpline that has helped hundreds of LGBTQ+ people since its launch. He is a specialist in diversity and inclusion and regularly undertakes consultancy and training on LGBTQ+ topics for a wide variety of businesses and organisations.
About Chester Pride
Chester Pride supports, celebrates, and advocates for the LGBTQ+ community of Cheshire, North Wales and surrounding areas. They host the annual Pride event in Chester city centre, and they have recently opened the Rainbow Tea Rooms cafe and community space in the heart of the city. Chester Pride also aims to support the LGBTQ+ community year round, and alongside the Tea Rooms being a safe space, they also operate the Just Ask helpline, conduct training and consultancy to businesses, and distribute free sexual health and menstrual products to the wider community.
