Swansea Pride

Saturday, May 17, 2025 Swansea Guildhall, Swansea SA1 4PE

Swansea Pride 2025 is set to be the city’s biggest celebration of LGBTQ+ life and community, returning on Saturday 17 May with a packed programme of events taking place across the Guildhall and Brangwyn Hall. As one of the most loved and inclusive Pride events in South Wales, it promises a day filled with colour, celebration, and connection for all.

Pride March:
The day begins with the iconic Swansea Pride March, which starts at 11:00 AM from Wind Street. The parade will travel through Oxford Street and St. Helen’s Road, before arriving at the Guildhall around midday to officially launch the festival. Parade participants are encouraged to arrive by 10:45 AM, and groups of over 10 are asked to register via the Swansea Pride website.

Pride Festival:
From 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the festival will take over the Guildhall grounds with live music, entertainment, and activities. The main stage will feature a line-up of performers celebrating the creativity and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. There will also be food and drink vendors offering a mix of local favourites and global flavours, along with market stalls from local businesses and artisans.

Inside Brangwyn Hall, the Community Zone will host information stands from support organisations, charities, social services, and LGBTQ+ advocacy groups, offering a valuable space for learning, conversation, and connection. You’ll also find craft traders, health information booths, and inclusive spaces for youth and families.

Accessibility & Facilities:
Swansea Pride is committed to being accessible and welcoming to all. The site includes ramps, accessible toilets, and lift access to Brangwyn Hall. A dedicated viewing platform for performances is available to those with wristband access, which can be collected from the information tent.
