Sodit: Sheffield Women’s LGBTQIA+ Wellbeing Festival

Sunday, May 18, 2025 Victoria Hall, 74 Norfolk Street, Sheffield S1 2JB Sodit: Sheffield Women’s LGBTQIA+ Wellbeing Festival

This free, one-day festival is dedicated to the wellbeing and empowerment of LGBTQIA+ women and AFAB non-binary people across South Yorkshire.

Organised by Sodit (Survivors of Depression in Transition), the event will include workshops focused on mental health, body positivity, self-care, and healing. Attendees can also enjoy creative sessions such as arts and crafts, zine-making, and journaling. The day offers a range of wellbeing activities like yoga, breathwork, and relaxation spaces. Speakers and storytellers will share lived experiences, while local LGBTQ+ organisations will host resource stalls. A free lunch and refreshments will be provided, and everyone will receive a wellbeing gift bag to take home.

This is a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals who identify as women or AFAB non-binary – especially those who’ve experienced mental health challenges or marginalisation.
