Queers for Books!

Queers for Books is a regular meet-up for LGBTQ+ readers and allies interested in queer literature. Each month, the group explores a selected title by or about LGBTQ+ voices, coming together for thoughtful and informal discussion.

The setting is friendly and inclusive, making space for a range of perspectives and lived experiences.

Whether you have read the entire book, part of it, or simply want to listen, you are welcome to join. The event provides a space to reflect on storytelling, identity, and community through literature. Attendance is flexible, and you do not need to commit to every session.

The group meets at Corner in New Cross, a queer-led venue that supports local community work. After registering, participants will receive further details about the selected book and access information for the venue.

Who can attend
This group is open to LGBTQ+ people and allies of all ages and backgrounds. Everyone is welcome, regardless of how familiar they are with the text
