Pride in Trafford 2025

Pride in Trafford 2025 returns for its seventh year, celebrating LGBTQ+ arts, culture, and community across Trafford.The festival coincides with the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) and offers a diverse program of performances, workshops, and family-friendly activities.

Official Launch (13 May): Flag-raising ceremony at Waterside Plaza with speeches, poetry, and song.

Youth Pride (14 May): Creative activities focusing on youth voices at Gorse Hill Studios.

Theatre & Performance: Including "A Northern Tr*nny Hootenanny," "The Wheel of Nouns," "Buff," and "I Was Dancing in the Lesbian Bar."

Queer Creatives Assembly (15 May): A networking event for LGBTQ+ creatives.

Sing-Along Screening (15 May): "Rocketman" at a local venue.

Block Party (17 May): Free outdoor activities on Waterside Plaza, featuring performances and family-friendly entertainment.

Family Events (18 May): "Pop’n’Olly" storytime, arts and crafts, and "Drag & Draw" life drawing workshop.

Pride in Trafford explores and celebrates identity and LGBTQ+ life through a queer arts focus. The festival aims to challenge and entertain, providing a platform for under-represented artists and fostering community engagement.
