Calling all writers, readers, and storytellers — whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned scribbler, the Open Book Creative Writing Sessions are your invitation to explore words, spark your creativity, and connect with others through storytelling.
Held at Glasgow’s iconic Mitchell Library, these relaxed and inclusive sessions are designed to help you discover (or rediscover) your voice. Led by experienced facilitators, you’ll read and discuss great writing together before using it as a springboard for your own short pieces — poetry, fiction, reflection, or whatever inspires you.
No pressure. No judgment. Just a supportive space to write, reflect, and enjoy being creative with others.
These sessions are part of Open Book’s Scotland-wide programme and are completely free to attend. All materials are provided — just bring yourself.
