Nottinghamshire Pride 2025 returns this summer for a joyful, free celebration of LGBTQ+ identity, equality, and community spirit.
Taking place on Saturday 26 July, the event will fill the streets of Nottingham with colour, music, and pride from morning into the evening. At its heart, Pride is a chance to come together, honour how far we've come, and remind ourselves of the work that remains in the fight for full equality.
Pride Parade:
The day begins with the Pride March at 11:00 AM, assembling from 10:00 AM at the junction of Lister Gate and Castle Gate (outside M&S). The march is open to all — individuals, families, friends, community groups, charities, and businesses. Over 11,000 people are expected to take part, celebrating visibility, solidarity, and joy as they move through the heart of the city. Pride stewards will be on hand throughout to guide participants and ensure a safe and smooth experience. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, stay hydrated, and bring sun protection.
The Market:
From 12:00 PM, Sneinton Market and surrounding streets will come alive with an engaging mix of educational and community-focused stalls. Here, attendees can connect with grassroots groups, charities, and organisations that provide essential services, support, and information to LGBTQ+ people across Nottinghamshire and beyond.
Festival & Stage:
A full afternoon of entertainment kicks off from noon, featuring a fantastic lineup of Nottinghamshire-based LGBTQ+ artists. From spoken word and drag performances to musicians and local legends, the Pride stage is a celebration of queer creativity and community talent. Local acts are the stars of the show, giving the festival a uniquely Nottingham vibe. Please be aware that access to the stage area may be paused temporarily if it reaches capacity, for health and safety reasons.
Family Area:
From 12:00 PM onwards, a dedicated Family Zone will offer a relaxed and welcoming space for children and families. There will be storytelling, games, and activities in a calmer environment for those who want to take a break from the crowds without missing out on the fun.
Why It Matters:
Nottinghamshire Pride is rooted in activism, visibility, and celebration. It honours the past while empowering the present — shining a light on local voices, supporting LGBTQ+ organisations, and building bridges across communities.
Get Involved:
Nottinghamshire Pride is community-run and welcomes support in many forms — whether you want to volunteer, perform, march, or simply show up and celebrate. It is proudly free to attend and open to all.
