A queer self-care workshop with an Occupational Therapist for LGBTQ+ people (16+) in Glasgow
Join us for a queer self-care workshop with Occupational Therapist, Ed Sum.
This 2-hour workshop will focus on various aspects of self-care for queer folks, including stress management, self-compassion, movement and posture, assertiveness, and an exploration of our personal values around self-care.
There will breaks throughout the session with tea, coffee and snacks available.
W ho we welcome
Anyone from the LGBTQIA+ community aged 16+ living in or travelling to Glasgow is welcome to join us. We welcome all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people, including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people, and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. We also welcome those questioning their sexuality or gender identity, including those who don't use labels for either.

If you require BSL interpretation, please contact Sophie at sophie@lgbthealth.org.uk or 0141 255 1767.
♿️ Partially wheelchair accessible
We will be on the ground floor of the Adelphi Centre with an accessible bathroom on the same floor. Please be aware the venue is not fully accessible. There is level access throughout the building, but there are no electronic or touch pad operated doors (staff will be there to let you in). Likewise the accessible WCs are behind sliding doors. These issues have been fed back to the Adelphi Centre and we hope they will be improved for all of our community members in mind.
If there is anything we can do to make this event more accessible to you, please contact Sophie on sophie@lgbthealth.org.uk or leave a message for Sophie on our admin phone 0141 255 1767.
