TBC Wolverhampton Wolverhampton WV1
Come and join our social group for LGBT+ women. We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month for LesBiDo!
The idea behind the group is to give local LGBT+ women a safe space to meet, chat and socialise. We meet in our discreet and secure building in Wolverhampton.
See what other services we have to offer and make new friends. Occasional pop-up information sessions will take place. Tell us want you want to hear about!
Free hot and cold drinks are available in our comfy and cosy shared space. We are an alcohol-free venue.
We request that participants are respectful and open minded with other members and volunteers. O ver 18's only.
Facilitated by Kate and Sue.
P lease note that assistance dogs are welcome to this session, please email in advance if you feel that this may be a problem for you.
Q uestions can be emailed to info@wolverhamptonlgbt.org
Our organisation is a registered charity (CN 1193696), all donations and charged ticket sales help us to put on future support sessions and activities.
In 2022 we found that on average around 60% of people who booked tickets, did not attend our sessions. This means that people were reserving limited places and denying others a chance of attending. In 2023 we are trialling a nominal fee for each session to reduce DNA's and to ensure that we are sustainable going forward, we also operate a "Donate as you feel" scheme, whereby if you wish to make a more meaningful donation you can do so by ordering a "donate as you feel" ticket. Unlimited drinks are included in any fees. Refunds are available up until 1 day before each session is due to take place. If you cannot afford to pay then just confidentially email info@wolverhamptonlgbt.org and we will help you out!
VIP Members can attend for free, you can secure your VIP Membership here... https://wolverhamptonlgbt.org/membership-card/
Wolverhampton LGBT+ take seriously the safety and comfort of all volunteers and participants. We, as a charity, have the right to cancel tickets and deny attendance if it is found that individuals are disruptive to events or upsetting/offending others by way of language or behaviour.
