Leeds Pride 2025

Sunday, July 20, 2025 Leeds City Centre – Parade from Millennium Square to Lower Briggate

Leeds Pride, Yorkshire’s largest celebration of LGBTQ+ life, returns on Sunday 20 July 2025, for a vibrant day filled with unity, colour, and joy in the heart of Leeds.

As one of the UK’s most inclusive and community-focused Pride events, it brings together tens of thousands of people from across the region to celebrate diversity, equality, and love.

Parade Details:
The day begins at 12:00 PM with the iconic Pride Parade, which starts from Millennium Square and winds through the city centre. This joyful procession brings together LGBTQ+ groups, allies, performers, and local organisations in a powerful and colourful march. The route finishes at Lower Briggate by The Calls, where the festival celebrations will continue throughout the afternoon and evening. The Headrow and Vicar Lane offer some of the best spots for viewing the parade, while quieter areas like New York Street provide a more relaxed space to enjoy the atmosphere.

Festival Highlights:
Once the parade reaches Lower Briggate, the area transforms into a bustling Pride village, where festivalgoers can enjoy live entertainment from local and national artists. The street will be lined with community information stalls, LGBTQ+ charities, artisan traders, food and drink vendors, and vibrant music stages. The space is fully inclusive and family-friendly, welcoming everyone regardless of age, background, or identity.

Wristbands & Support:
While Leeds Pride remains a free event, attendees are encouraged to purchase optional supporter wristbands to help fund the celebration and access additional benefits. Day Supporter wristbands offer perks like discounted drinks, food offers throughout July, and fast-track entry. Day/Night Supporter wristbands include all the daytime perks plus priority access to the official after-party. For those looking for a more exclusive experience, Super Supporter wristbands provide access to a private viewing area near the main stage, complimentary food and drinks, and even backstage access. Funds raised through wristband sales go directly towards keeping Leeds Pride free and supporting local LGBTQ+ projects.

Get Involved:
Leeds Pride is run by the community, for the community. There are many ways to take part — whether by joining the parade, volunteering, performing, or applying for a market stall or information space. Applications for 2025 are now open on the official website.
