Glasgow's Pride 2025 returns on Saturday 19 July with a day full of energy, colour, and solidarity, affirming its place as Scotland’s largest and most iconic LGBTQ+ celebration. Held in the heart of Glasgow City Centre, the event welcomes thousands of people from across Scotland and beyond, coming together to celebrate equality, love, and the right to live freely and authentically.
The day begins with the Glasgow Pride Parade, a vibrant and empowering march through the streets of the city. Local and national organisations, community groups, schools, trade unions, faith groups, businesses, and allies will join LGBTQ+ individuals to send a united message of pride and resistance. The route will pass through some of Glasgow’s most recognisable streets, providing a powerful moment of visibility and joy.
Following the parade, the city will host an afternoon festival with live entertainment, including performances from Scottish music acts, drag artists, community choirs, and DJs, all contributing to a dynamic and diverse celebration. Festivalgoers can explore community stalls offering support, information, and local LGBTQ+ services, along with artisan traders, food vendors, and interactive activities suitable for all ages.
There will be a dedicated family area and quiet spaces available to ensure that Glasgow's Pride is welcoming to families, children, and those who may prefer a more relaxed experience. Accessibility is a key priority for the organisers, with ramp access, viewing platforms, BSL interpretation, and accessible facilities planned throughout the event.
Community involvement is at the heart of Glasgow's Pride, and the organisers invite local residents, creatives, performers, charities, and volunteers to take part. Whether you want to help out on the day, join the parade, or represent your organisation, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
