Thursday 25th join us at the Gala theatre in Durham for a unique event to kick off the 10th anniversary Pride festivities. Would YOU read your teenage diary to a live audience? 🌈📖 Queer Diary is kicking off Durham Pride on Thursday May 25th & are seeking more daring LGBT+ people to get on the mic & share something from your teens on the mic. This is for any adults, anywhere on the LGBT+ spectrum who are welcome to share something from their youth on the mic at Queer Diary! You don’t have to be a performer - we’ll support you if you’ve never done anything like this! More info and tickets: https://queerdiarydurham.eventbrite.com/

Friday 26th May we see a mini art exhibition at The Library with a theme for Pride Past, Present and Future. Free to attend.

Saturday 27th Durham Pride has a brand new Pride in Armed Forces day celebrating LGBT+ personnel past and present. The day will have music, bars, food, market stalls, fun fair and military themed displays. Free to attend.

Pride Sunday 28th remains our big day and starts from the cathedral with a march through Durham City ending at the Sands Field. Although to join the march is free, Sunday on the field is tickets only and due to its popularity, we recommend getting them early as we can't guarantee entry to the field on the day, due to capacity. Everyone can enjoy entertainment with headliners on main stage, food and bars, market stalls and a fun fair for all the family to enjoy. Tickets required.

This year Pride's official after party will be at the Bohemia night club on the Walkergate complex with DJ Ophelia Balls and meet and greet with Gucci Gabore. The after show will be from 7pm and pay on the door on a what you can afford basis. VIP wristbands get to Q jump. The venue will revert to HUSH after 10.30pm and people are welcome to stay and enjoy their night. Pay on the door.
