Big Queer Science Show

 Join us for the first big queer adults-only science show in the city!

 

A night of shamelessly queer science shows, performance artists, burlesque, drag acts and more to celebrate international LGBTQ+ person in STEM day on the 18th November.

Drag artists, researchers, and performance artists will take to the stage in an incredibly gay variety show all interpreting the theme of 'science' in their own way. Grab a drink, sit back and enjoy this pay what you feel show supporting performers and researchers locally and from across the UK .

Expect glitz, glam and fun as local performers including Veggie Stripper, Mama Rhi, Frida Sapphic and more join researchers from Newcastle University and beyond to explore science in weird and wonderful ways.

Hosted by Drag Idol 2022 winners Bonnie Love & Ben Dover, come together at a private venue at Brinkburn Brewery for drinks, laughs and gay performance. Then stay as Bonnie Love takes on the DJ booth for an afterparty of camp tunes and power ballads!

This performance is pay what you feel - we would encourage you to donate a cash amount you feel the show was worth! All proceed will be split equally amongst the performers on the night.
