University Teacher

The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint a University Teacher. The ideal candidate should have a good honours degree in computer science or a closely related subject. You will have experience of delivering high-quality computer science teaching, ideally in Higher Education. You should also be familiar with the different strategies to promote learning in an inclusive and supportive environment, and have a demonstrable interest in enthusing and engaging students and lecturers. Focused and motivated, you will have excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.

You will join our established Teaching Specialist team in the Department of Computer Science, which is led by our Director of Education, Dr Emma Norling. The team is made up of Senior University Teachers, University Teachers, University Teaching Associates, Teaching & Research Assistants and Teaching Assistants. Our Teaching Specialist team has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality teaching, assessment, and feedback. You will be guided and supported in your teaching skills development by experienced academic staff. You will contribute to enhancing The Department of Computer Science's reputation for high quality and innovative teaching. You will take an active role in delivering an excellent student experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
