Lecturer in Wireless Communications

Job Description

We are recruiting a lecturer in wireless communication, specialising in radio systems engineering, to join the Communications (COM) group within the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering (EEE).

As Lecturer, you will join a UK leading communications research group that specialises in wireless communications systems. The group has world-leading strengths in radio systems engineering encompassing microwave, millimetre wave and sub-THz circuit design, software-defined radio, direct RF digitisation, waveform design and energy-efficient radio systems solutions. These research areas are underpinned by our project activities in 5G, 6G and Open-RAN radio systems research and our world-leading experimental facilities comprising the UKRI funded National 6G Radio Systems Facility and the National Millimetre Wave Measurement Facility. The successful candidate will be expected to maximise the impact of our research by using these facilities. The candidate will develop his/her own innovative experimental research, working both individually and in collaboration with academic colleagues as well as developing wider networks across academia and industry.
